FARMINGTON, N.M. -- An explosive device damaged a shed and dented a dumpster in Farmington early Tuesday morning, but police say no one was injured.

Farmington Police Department spokesperson Georgette Allen said they received reports around 3:05 a.m. that the device exploded on the 500 block of East 20th Street. The department's bomb unit found the remains of the device in a parking lot, and they believe it was made from a glass cylinder.

Police are continuing to investigate. Call FPD detectives through their tip hotline at (505) 599-1068 or call San Juan County Crime Stoppers at (505) 334-TIPS if you have any information.
