FARMINGTON, N.M. -- There are still many questions surrounding an explosion in the Four Corners near a family practitioner’s office early Tuesday morning.

Law enforcement officers believe the detonation of a modified gas cylinder is responsible for the explosion. No injuries were reported, but a shed did sustain some damage. There are some holes from the blast as well as a blast mark extending up the wall of the shed.

"Our bomb unit came out, investigated it, collected evidence," said Georgette Allen, a spokesperson for the Farmington Police Department. "And so at this point, it is an ongoing investigation and we are asking the public for assistance if anybody saw anything or hears anything to give us a call [at (505) 599-1070] or call Crime Stoppers [at (505) 334-8477]."

Authorities are now looking to surrounding businesses with security footage with the hope of finding clues. While Dr. Dan Dunn cannot think of anyone that would want to cause him or his practice any harm, he would like some answers.

"If somebody does have something against me, I would like to know about," he said. "I would like them to come talk to me face to face."
